The CFA Society of Orange County (CFAOC), formerly the Orange County Society of Investment Managers, has established the CFA Society of Orange County Foundation (Foundation), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation.

The mission of the Foundation is to foster, promote and encourage the development of professionalism within the Orange County Investment community and to heighten public awareness of this professionalism by:

1. Providing educational scholarships for the study of financial investment practice at colleges and universities located in and around Orange County, California; and
   
   
2. Supervising a select group of students who manage all or a portion of the Foundation's investment portfolio.
